Welcome to our kitten room.

We limit the number of litters that we have in a given year, so that we can raise every baby with all the loving care it deserves. Our primary focus is to produce loving and mannered kittens, which fortunately is very easy given that Abyssnians are one of, if not the most, adaptable feline around. It is not uncommon to have a request for a kitten, from a household which already has a cat, or two, only to hear back from the new owners that the kitten has won over the entire household... even the existing pets!

We strive for quality cats that are not only beautiful but very healthy and happy. The Abyssinian is a very inquisitive and social animal. They love being wherever their people are. Whether that be at the side of the bathtub...playing with the water, or in the kitchen while dinner is being made. It could be on the dryer while the clothes are being fluffed or in bed under the blankets. It might even be on the couch while watching TV. But it will be where you are, rest assured. They simply love people.

Our potential parents are screened throughly to insure that all babies go to the best homes possible. We try to get to know the potential parents, so that we can match them with the best possibly Aby pal. We expect that all our babies will be indoor cats only. All babies leave our home spayed or neutered. This alleviates that burden from their new parents. Our babies leave only after they are 16 weeks old, to help insure that they are fully ready to face a new world. We also love to give and ongoing support that might be necessary as a baby faces a new home...and we love to hear about them as they grow up.... we frequently get notes with pictures of our kids as they grow up, which is very heartwarming.

We do not have any kittens on the ground at this time, but below are some of our previous babies.

Here you see the last four babies out of GC, RW Purssynian Aux Delices of AzureStar and GC Cheetara's Dark Thunder. They are 4 weeks of age here, and were kind enough to stay still while I left the room and came back with the camera...

This little cutie decided to let her picture be taken, but only if she could be a solo star. She was the little girl from above picture, lower right corner. She is 7 weeks old in this picture, back in 2000! We named her Luna, because she loves staring at the moon in the evenings. This young lady blossomed into a lovely adult, although she did not like to be shown. We tried to breed her without success, so at the young age of 2 years, Luna went to a wonderful home on a lake where she nows stares at birds and deer.

Here we had two very pretty babies out of first time parents Cheetara's Surprise Package and GC AzureStar Excalibur. This very inquisitive child is Kay-li and down below we have her "just pet my tummy" brother Kooka.
Kay-li went to live in a great home over in Austin TX.

Does this pose remind you of anybody .... like father like son! Kooka now lives in Belize!
