Thank you for spending time with us. We want to give you a little idea of how we got started and what we are about.
We started in 1996, when we purchased a beautiful little Blue Abyssinian kitten from Purssynian cattery. Because of his
color and our love of the "King Arthur" legend, we named him PURSSYNIAN AZURE MERLINUS. We wanted a companion that we
would be able to show ocassionally, and not be embarrased. Well, GP RW Purssynian Azure Merlinus did everything but embarass
us, ending up a CFA Regional winner.

From there, as the saying goes, we were hooked and continue to enjoy the sport of showing cats and especially
the Dilute Abyssinian. In addition to showing, we have been very fortunate in our breeding program by starting with
another beautiful Blue Abyssinian (a female), GC, GP, RW Purssynian Aux Delices of AzureStar (Addy). Addy was less than thrilled to
be shown but has loved being a mommy. Now as a spay, she totally loves being back in the showhall! Kids out of her last litter can be found in our kitten room. |
So why do this? What motivates us?
It's very simple really! The Abyssinian is by far the most capitivating and enchanting
of all cats. From putting a paw out to shake hands at a cat show, to sitting on command for a treat (on a grooming table) for strangers, the Aby is simply the most outgoing
breed there is. Just ask anyone who comes over for a visit. Before they get in the door, Addy will be standing there just waiting to be fawned over, and if the company sits down, Addy is right there so she can groom their hair.
